 Reaction to "Elefante"

I. Summary
Manuel’s life is unhappy in a nondescript kind of way. He hates his job, he feels unloved by his wife, and he doesn’t even like his friend Sergio all that much. But his life is about to change dramatically when his doctor diagnoses him with a mysterious disease that will soon turn him into an elephant.

Reaction to "The most beautiful thing"


1.Summary
This shrot film, The most beautiful thing is written, directed and edited by Cameron Covell. This story is a love story between two unlikely people.


2.Reaction

I.Caracters
Lover boy : He is reserved and does't have confidence in one self. He likes the girl. And he wants to go to prom with her.
Dream girl : She cannot hear sounds.

II. Acting
The film's acting is good. Their acting makes me impressed.

III. Mesagge
The best and most beautiful thing in the world cannnot seen, heard, or even touched, they must be felt with the heart. This words were said by Helen Keller. 


3. General Opinion
This short film impress me. Helen Keller's words is very nice. I think it is important to try somethig like a dream girl in this film.

 Reaction to The Tale of Peter Rabitt

I. Summary
The story I chose is The Tale of Peter Rabitt. The story is written by Beatrix Potter. I will react to this story. One day, Peter play with his sisters. Their mother bans they from entering in Mr.McGregor's garden. But he entered McGregor's farm and McGregor found him eating vegetables. McGregor got angry and chased him.


II. Reaction

Peter : the protagonist
Mr. McGregor : he has a garden and grow vegetables

2. Tone
When Peter sneaks McGregor's garden and eats vegetables, speaker talks slowly and calmly. While when he is escaping McGregor, speaker talks quickly and steps up tempo.


3. Denoument
 He managed to succeed in escaping but he lost his blue new jacket and shoes.

III. General Opinion
To break rule is a bad action. His case is to break to promise his mother to not enter McGregor's garden. I think, maybe, this story said if you do bad you will get a retribution.

I. Summary
    The short-short story I chose to summarize is " Live and Work ".  This is story ; father work hard for his wife and his son in almost everyday. He got a good job as a senior supervisor which paid handsomely. Then he could provide his familiy with life's little luxuries like nice clothing, fine food and vacation abroad and buy a beautiful condominium overlooking the coast of Singapore. But he died, thanks to it his hard work.

II. Reaction

1. Charater
    This story has three characters. The leading part is father. Father is a hardworking man who delivered bread. Another character is his wife and his three children.  

2. Theme
    I think this story's theme is not only working hard but spending with familiy.

III. General Opinion
    This story shows about not only this hardworking father but a man living for working. I think you can get a mind to do due to spending with your familiy, your friends and your goyfriend or girlfriend. Because it is important to spend with them, too.

Reaction to Yesterday is History by Emily Dickinson

 

Ⅰ. Summary
 
The poem I chose is Yesterday is History by Emily Dickinson. The poem has no form or structure, so I think this poem is free verse. The poem says that yesterday is history for today and today will be also history for tomorrow while we spend a day.

Ⅱ. Reaction

1. Rhythm
I think the poem uses rhyme. this poem repetition uses word "~y" end of a sentence . This is complement "~y" by repeating.


2. Connotation
This poem uses the word "yesterday".  This poem claim Yesstetrdaya's mean is history and poetry, philosophy and mystery . We recognize many mean to yesterday.

3. Emphasize
" 'Tis " is used in this poem. This word emphasize the next paregraph.


III. General opinion

If it is a nice day for us today, today's history will be a wonderful thing. However, if our lives are complex today, the history of our day could be something boring. I think this poem is very philosophical.
